Bake Away

Regular Sunday Afternoon "Bake Away", for children aged 7-11yrs.

Thirsk Methodist Church between 3:00 - 4.30pm. Cost £1 per child.

A fun afternoon of baking for children, with craft and storytime to enjoy whilst the mixtures are baking.

Qualified supervision by a team from Sowerby Methodist Church and St Oswald's Church Sowerby.

Bakers please bring -

An apron
A container to take home your baking
A big smile

Adults are welcome at 4.30pm to sample the baking and enjoy a cup of Yorkshire tea.

Our latest Bake Away afternoon on Sunday 23 April at Thirsk Methodist Church 3pm - 4.30pm was enjoyed by eight young bakers aged 7-11yrs.

We created cheese scones. Whilst the scones were baking the children planted mustard seeds on brown felt in jam pot lids! They also shared in a story from OutoftheBox.
