Tuesday Friends
Come and join us at Tuesday Friends, a regular weekly meeting for adults .
- Tuesday 2:15pm - 3:30pm in the school room at the rear of the church.
We endeavour to have a speaker and have covered a wide range of topics in the past. Occasionally we arrange something within the group eg Quiz, a visit to the local Garden Centre or a place of interest.
We begin with a short act of worship followed by the speaker or activity and finish with a cup of tea, biscuit and chat.
On the 3rd Tuesday of each month we join with Movie Tuesday.

CONGRATULATIONS to Mary Reynard who won First Prize at the Thirsk Methodist Church Christmas Tree Festival 2021
Mary's colourful and imaginative tree was full of "Lockdown Angels" created whilst we were all confined to our homes due to covid.
What are your plans for next years Christmas tree Mary?
On Tuesday 7th December 2021,ten Tuesday Friends spent an enjoyable afternoon, led by Rev'd Denise Williamson.
They created Christingles, a traditional pre-Christmas activity which ended with some impressive results. Well done everyone!
