Easter 2022

Good Friday Walk of Witness 2022

After an absence of three years, The Good Friday Walk of Witness will take place on the 15th April, commencing at St. Mary’s Church at 9.30a.m.  

After listening to a reading and singing a hymn, the walk will proceed along Kirkgate to the Market Place, accompanied by Thirsk British Legion Band,  making a further four stops before finishing at The Clock. The total distance is estimated to be approximately half a mile. At its conclusion those participating are invited to continue their fellowship with refreshments at St. James Green Methodist Church.
